Calendar Ringer (“we,” “our,” or “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we access, how we use it, how we protect it, and how you can control your data.
Information We Access
- Google Calendar events: We request the scope

to read your upcoming events (start/end times, title, and Google Meet links) so we can show reminders and provide a “Join” button.
- Basic profile: We request

to identify which Google account is connected and display your account email inside the extension.
How We Use Information
- Event data is used only to calculate reminder times and to display a Google Meet join link.
- Profile data is used only to show which account is connected. It is not used for marketing or shared with anyone.
Data Storage and Retention
- All data is processed locally in your browser.
- Data is stored in memory only and is discarded after use or when you close your browser.
- No data is transmitted to or stored on external servers.
User Control
- You can disconnect at any time by using the extension’s “Disconnect” button, which revokes our access and clears any cached data.
- You can also revoke access directly in your Google Account security settings.
Data Protection
- Encryption in transit: All communication with Google APIs uses HTTPS to protect data in transit.
- Local processing only: Event and profile data remain inside your browser and are not written to disk or external servers.
- Secure token storage: OAuth tokens are stored using Chrome’s extension storage APIs and never shared with any third party.
- No human access: Data is processed automatically by the extension; no one can view or access it.
- User revocation: Access can be revoked anytime via your Google Account settings.
Data Sharing and Human Access
No human has access to your data. We do not share, sell, or transfer data to third parties.
Children’s Privacy
Calendar Ringer is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will appear at this URL with a new effective date.
